Conquerors' Orphanage / Supporting Needy Kids in Education and Basic Needs Project

CONQUERORS' ORPHANAGE/NEEDY KIDS PROJECT

Bridges 2 Africa has partnered with Conquerors Chapel International in Accra, Ghana in an effort to reach out to the poor and needy.  Conqueror's Chapel currently supports over 400 orphans and needy children in their education as well as daily living. A scholarship fund has been created through which school fees/ tuition is paid for the kids in the communities supported who either have no one to support them or whose parents or guardians are incapable of supporting them. We are committed to education and believe providing these kids with a sound educational foundation is an effective tool and means of breaking the vicious cycle of poverty in these families and communities.

A child may not be born with a silver spoon in his/her mouth but a good EDUCATION can level the playing ground for this child and provide otherwise inaccessible opportunities in life.

Far left: A 71 year old woman burdened with the responsibility of educating and caring for her 12 year old grand-daughter whose mum died when the child was 2 years old and her father also died 2 years ago. Her grand-daughter wants to be a nurse when she grows up and at 71this grandmother is petty trading, doing odd jobs, what it takes make this dream a realization for the granddaughter. Kneeling in front of her is the Kaasewa Conquerors Chapel Pastor.
